MONDAY, JAN. 15
10:49 a.m. – Deputies investigated a woman bothering people and hitting vehicles near Castleberg Park. The 23-year-old woman was arrested for being drunk in public. She was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
11:53 a.m. – Assault reported at a business in the 2400 block of Claribel. John David Carter, 55, was subsequently arrested on multiple charges including unlawful use of tear gas, felon in possession of tear gas, child abuse and assault. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
2:48 p.m. – Investigation conducted by deputies of a vehicle collision at Patterson and First.
SUNDAY, JAN. 14
10:56 p.m. – Deputies investigated a family fight in the 5900 block of Chancellor. A 37-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were each arrested in connection with the incident. Both were transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
SATURDAY, JAN. 13
3:37 a.m. – Deputies conducted a traffic stop at Patterson and First. A 30-year-old man was arrested for DUI. He was cited and released after signing a promise to appear.
11:51 a.m. – Hit and run investigation at Roselle and Claribel.
11:56 a.mn. – Deputies investigated a family fight in the 6100 block of Claus.
10:40 p.m. – Traffic stop conducted in the 2900 block of Patterson. A 21-year-old man was arrested for DUI. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
FRIDAY, JAN. 12
7:01 p.m. – Deputies investigated a residential burglary in the 2600 block of Blessing.
THURSDAY, JAN. 11
12:04 p.m. – Deputies investigated a vandalism in the 6200 block of Claus Road.
1:54 p.m. – Vehicle collision investigation in the 2300 block of Patterson. The parties exchanged names and law enforcement was no longer needed.
2:15 p.m. – Deputies investigated a theft in the 5200 block of Squire Wells.
WEDNESDAY, JAN. 10
12:31 p.m. – Vehicle collision investigation in the 5800 block of Terminal.
3:14 p.m. – Deputies investigated vandalism in the 3500 block of Sierra. A 45-year-old man was arrested. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
5:17 p.m. – Deputies investigated a family fight in the 2200 block of Tahoe Timber. A 32-year-old man was arrested for drunk in public. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
7:16 p.m. – Deputies investigated a theft at Ulta and possibly Kohls. The investigation is ongoing.
7:26 p.m. – Hit and run investigation in the 6300 block of Oakdale.
11:31 p.m. – Deputies investigated the sounds of shot being fired at Howard and Morrill. Deputies checked the area, but were unable to locate anything.
TUESDAY, JAN. 9
10:23 a.m. – Theft investigation by deputies in the 6300 block of Tina.
6:07 p.m. – Deputies investigated a family fight. The investigation is ongoing since the victim went to North Bay Medical Center in Fairfield.
7:30 p.m. – Report of a stolen vehicle recovered.
OTHER HIGHLIGHTS:
School Resource Deputy Johnson started his position with Riverbank Schools.
On Jan. 10, Motor Deputies attended the funeral of an Oakland Police Officer who was killed
