MONDAY, OCT. 9
8:09 a.m. – Deputies contacted individuals starting to set up camp in the area of Atchison and Sixth. The subjects were advised to leave.
SUNDAY, OCT. 8
4:55 p.m. – Responded to the Home Depot for two women that stole items.
6:29 p.m. – Deputies responded to the 5400 block of Silvervale for a violation of restraining order report.
SATURDAY, OCT. 7
2:46 a.m. – Responded to the 6300 block of Roselle for a vehicle collision. Through investigation one subject was arrested for DUI, transported, and booked at the Stanislaus Detention Center.
4:02 p.m. – Deputies responded to the 6100 block of Roselle for a family fight; they returned to the same location at 5:15 p.m. Both times the fights were verbal only, deputies told the parties to separate for the remainder of the day.
FRIDAY, OCT. 6
1:01 a.m. – Vehicle collision reported at Patterson and Terminal.
4:44 a.m. – Deputies responded to the 2700 block of Topeka for a fight between neighbors. A 24-year-old man was arrested for drunk in public. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
1:19 p.m. – Burglary report taken in the 6400 block of Eighth Street.
4:12 p.m. – Detectives and deputies were doing extra patrol in the area of the Crossroads Shopping Center. Kohls had a subject conceal items and leave without paying. Deputies conducted a traffic stop and contacted a 40-year-old woman in connection with the incident. Through investigation she was arrested on multiple charges and several outstanding warrants.
9:49 p.m. – Deputies attempted a stop on a motorcycle at Claus and Claribel. The motorcycle did not stop, and a pursuit ensued. The helicopter got overhead and followed the motorcycle until it pulled into a driveway on Gargotto Court in Modesto. Deputies took a 22-year-old man into custody without incident. He was transported to the Stanislaus County Detention Center and booked.
THURSDAY, OCT. 5
8:41 a.m. – Responded to the 5900 block of Squire Wells for a fraud report.
10:25 a.m. – Deputies contacted a 38-year-old man during a traffic stop. He had a warrant and was arrested after it was confirmed. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
11:34 a.m. – Deputies responded to the 3800 block of California for an assault. The victim was uncooperative and would not give any information.
3:48 p.m. – Traffic stop resulted in a 49-year-old man being found to be driving on a suspended license. He was issued a citation and released after signing a promise to appear. His vehicle was towed.
5:12 p.m. – Responded to the 3600 block of Santa Fe for a report of a restraining order violation.
5:30 p.m. – Report of a hit and run at Oakdale and Morrill. The investigation is ongoing.
10:52 p.m. – Deputies did a traffic stop at Patterson and Jackson. During the investigation a 49-year-old man was contacted as the driver and found to be driving under the influence. He was arrested, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center, and booked.
WEDNESDAY, OCT. 4
2:16 p.m. – Theft of an iPhone reported; deputies responded to the 3800 block of California for a theft report. The phone was recovered in the 3900 block of Sierra and returned to the owner.
2:50 p.m. – Deputies responded to the 3100 block of Sutton for a report of possible abuse.
2:42 p.m. – CRD Buck contacted a 32-year-old man in the 3400 block of High Street. He was arrested for a parole violation, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
3:33 p.m. – Detectives were called by loss prevention at Home Depot for two subjects loading up a cart with high end power tools. Detectives and deputies attempted to stop the subjects and a pursuit ensued and stopped after PIT was done. Faith Coey, 45, and Michael Sheley, 44, were arrested for multiple charges. They were transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
7:52 p.m. – Vehicle stop of a Ford Taurus that had a license plate belonging to an Acura on it at Claus and Highway108. The driver, a 47-year-old man, was cited for being an unlicensed driver and the vehicle was towed.
