Golden Agers are mingling and dancing at the Riverbank Community Center on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. There is a small $5 fee for members and $6 for non-members.
That is just one of the weekly events being offered for the senior citizens in the community, focusing on health, wellness and fun.
Senior Meals sponsored by Central Valley Community Resources are available on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and brunch is offered on Fridays at 10 a.m., also at the Community Center.
There is T’ai Chi Ch’uan on Wednesdays from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Community Center. Interested parties can attend for a $5 drop-in fee.
For $2 guests can participate in a Zumba Gold class at the Community Center on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m.
On Thursdays at the Cardozo Gym from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. seniors can play some basketball. Interested parties can contact 209-402-3998.
Chess players can join the Chess Club at the Community Center on Tuesday at 1 p.m. There is no charge and there will be a teacher available.
