The sixth and final session of Youth Basketball Clinic games were held this past Saturday in the Ray Fauria Memorial Gymnasium on the Riverbank High School campus. Ironically, it finished up the short recreational season the same week as the RHS boys and girls hoop teams closed out their Trans-Valley League regular season contests. The youth basketball program is put on by the high school basketball teams, with players and coaches providing training and supervision of the young players. Here, the Eviscerators, in green, take on Denair Lumber’s team in orange. After learning some skills and practicing through drills, the teams move on to play games, getting a well-rounded experience on the court.
