The Oakdale Women’s Club (OWC) will be having its monthly luncheon/meeting again on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at the Oakdale Golf and Country Club, 243 N. Stearns Road, Oakdale.

The luncheon, usually held inside, will be held outside in the Country Club’s big tent due to the COVID-19 restrictions and will begin at noon. Those attending will be given a special menu to order from, cost of which is $16 per person.

The OWC’s regular meeting will then begin at 12:30 p.m., starting with dessert and the announcement of the Woman of the Year award. The women’s group will also be holding their annual fun-filled Halloween Costume contest with prizes going to the most original, the scariest and the ugliest outfits.

Also on the agenda will be nominations taken from the floor for new board members, discussions relating to events over the past six months during the suspension of the OWC’s meetings, and notification of Club dues for the coming year.
