It appears just one Riverbank High School team played any games during Spring Break last week, but Trans-Valley League play resumed this week, with both home and away games for all spring squads.
Lady Bruin Softball
While other teams were off last week, the varsity softball girls competed in a NorCal Classic tournament in Tracy over the weekend.
They won on Sunday, beating Juneau-Douglas from Alaska, 7-2, but then had to settle for a 6-6 tie against Turlock.
With classes resuming at school this week, RHS is scheduled to host Hughson on Wednesday afternoon, April 10, then welcome Livingston on Friday, April 12 in league action.
Bruin Baseball
Riverbank boys were to travel to Modesto Christian for a TVL game on Tuesday, April 9, then will host the Crusaders in a Thursday afternoon home contest.
Co-Ed Tennis
Bruin netters have a hectic pace, with three matches scheduled this week. They were to be on the home court, hosting Ripon on Tuesday, then visit Hughson on Wednesday afternoon. Rounding out the week, the team is slated to travel to Livingston on Friday, April 12.
Track & Field
Bruin runners, jumpers and throwers were to be busy this week, as well. They’re scheduled to travel to Hughson for a dual meet on Wednesday afternoon, April 10, then are back on the road again on Saturday, traveling to the Hughson Vintage Invitational.
Bruin Boys Volleyball
Riverbank was to host Stone Ridge Christian on Tuesday, April 9, and will travel to Livingston for a TVL match on Thursday, April 11.
Bruin Boys Golf
The linksters are to travel to La Contenta Golf Course in Valley Springs on Thursday, April 11 for the fourth in the series of TVL Tournaments.
