Coaches for the Cardozo Middle School basketball season were approved by the Riverbank Unified School District trustees on Nov. 2.
They include Cohen Blount for 8th grade boys basketball and 7th grade girls basketball; and Glen Beckham for 8th grade girls basketball.
Trustees also named Robert Mayfield to again coach the junior varsity women's basketball team at Riverbank High School.
Other RHS basketball coaches previously approved are Scott Ericksen for women's varsity basketball, Jeff Jennings for the boys varsity team and Derrick Burnett for the boys junior varsity team.
The girls basketball season at RHS is due to start with a home game against Oakdale on Saturday, Nov. 27, followed by competition in the three-day Escalon Tournament starting on Dec. 1.
The Bruin boys will open with an away game against Johansen on Nov. 30. They will return home for the Tip-Off Tournament, Dec. 2 through Dec. 4.
