The Cardozo Middle School co-ed soccer team won the Mid Valley Athletic League championship, compiling a record of seven wins and one loss for the season.

Featuring players from sixth, seventh and eighth grade levels, the team was described as being an ‘amazing, respectful, talented and great group of kids.’

Coaches said they always played well as a team, because they all have become friends. They also were supportive on and off the field, always finding ways to bring each other up.

Coaches for the championship Eagles team were Brian Baker and Omar Ramirez.
