Riverbank High School golfers returned to their usual order of precedence during the week ended.
The Bruin lost 199-273 to Ripon and were defeated 212-257 by Escalon.
But Clint Intorf, the usual leader for Riverbank, again led with 42 against Ripon (after being temporarily displaced by Kyle Vaughn the previous week).
Intorf was trailed by Martin Moreno, with 56; Kyle Vaughn, with 57; Patrick Dean, with 58; and Daniel Reed, with 50.
In Thursday's match against Escalon, Intorf led with 40; followed by Vaughn, with 50; Vince Benham, with 51; Reed, with 52; and Moreno, with 64.
"Escalon is a really good team," said Bruin coach John Bartlett. "Ripon lost all their seniors last year, but they had six other good golfers and those have all moved up .
"Ripon is the team to beat," he added. "To shoot under 200 on any course requires a really top team."
This week, the Bruins were set to face Hilmar on Tuesday, Turlock Christian today, and Waterford on Thursday.
