Fall Sports Winding Down, Few Games Left

Riverbank High's fall sports schedule is winding down, with final home games and matches scheduled this week.

 

Girls’ volleyball held its last match, a Senior Recognition Night welcoming Modesto Christian High to the home court. Football ends with a similar celebration on Friday, hosting Livingston.

 

 

Lady Bruin Volleyball

 

Riverbank hosted Hilmar's Lady Yellowjackets on Wednesday, Oct. 12, falling in three, 25-14, 25-23, and 25-11, in TVL play. Tonight's match closes out the 2022 season for the Lady Bruins, honoring the team's seniors.

 

Other sports near the end include cross country and girls’ golf.

 

CC Meets

 

Riverbank runners are preparing for next week's TVL Championship Race, in Ceres on Oct. 26. Sub Sections and the Section Championship follow.

Girls’ golfers were to compete in the Valley Foothill League Year End Tournament this Monday, with Sub Sections and the Masters Tournament to follow.
