When the Riverbank Bruins finish their round-robin scrimmage at Linden High on Sept. 5, the Bruins will make their final preparations before opening the 2008 football schedule. Ready or not, everything is for real when the Bruins make the trip to Gustine to get things going.

Riverbank will make its home opener the following week (Sept. 19) as they play host to the Livingston Wolves at Angelo Novi Field. A trip to Delhi and to LeGrand High will sandwich the Bruins' second home contest when Waterford High comes to Riverbank Oct. 3 for a 7:30 p.m. kick-off. The Waterford game is also the Bruins' homecoming affair where the winning court will be announced.

Riverbank would love to close out the non-league schedule with more wins than losses as they head into Trans-Valley League action.
