In a "friendly" match against the Sonora Wildcats of the Valley Oak League, the Riverbank Bruins varsity soccer team gave its first glimpse of what its squad is capable of doing with an impressive first half performance.

The Bruins celebrated as Ricardo Vigil got things going with a first-half hat trick after blistering the Wildcats for three goals in the game's first 40 minutes of action. The Wildcats would be unable to make up the deficit, yet they did put a little pressure on the Bruins before bowing out gracefully in a contest that was over at the start.
