Three Riverbank boys teams will play in a youth league All Star tournament here.
The Empire Tournament, despite its name, will play the initial rounds on June 20-22 in Riverbank, said Riverbank Youth League president Steve Arnold.
The local 8 and under rookies, 10 and under boys and 12 and under boys teams will compete in the tournament expected to draw 40 or more teams.
A Riverbank girls 8 and under team is already set to compete in a Los Angeles tournament, said Arnold, and a 14 and under girls team is being formed.
Managers of the teams are John Woods for 8 and under boys, Mike Rogers for 10 and under boys, Terry Codde for 12 and under boys, and Kim Capps for 8 and under girls.
