Annual Tamale Dinner Hosted By El Concilio

Get in the holiday spirit at El Concilio’s Annual Navidad en el Valle Tamale Dinner, coming up Dec. 6 in Stockton.

The tamale dinner event is staged at the Stockton Civic Center Auditorium and includes a drive-thru lunch option from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and both a sit down and drive-thru dinner from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The annual tamale dinner doubles as a holiday fundraiser for families in need.

Tickets are $10 per plate and will include two steamed-to-perfection tamales (Chicken, Pork or Cheese) served with Mexican rice and beans. Additional attractions include live musical performances, local entertainment, photos with Santa, and Mexican desserts.

All of the proceeds go toward food baskets for families in the community. The Navidad en el Valle event helps raise the crucial funds necessary for El Concilio to continue its work in helping families in need by providing them with bountiful holiday food baskets and hope for the new year.

El Concilio is the largest Hispanic nonprofit, social services agency in California’s Central Valley, celebrating its 51st year serving the community.
