Taylor Receives Recognition Through Valley Garden Clubs

The Valley Lode District is a subsidiary of California Garden Clubs, which is comprised of 20 garden clubs throughout Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Mono, Tuolumne, Stanislaus, and San Joaquin counties. Members of the Valley Lode District recently held their district meeting in Jamestown, California at the Chicken Ranch Casino. The Oct. 11 event was hosted by the Tuolumne County Garden Club.

At the gathering, Director of the Valley Lode District, Berni Hendrix from Ceres, honored Bob Taylor from Oakdale for his distinguished service with the garden clubs around the region. Hendrix talked about his contributions to the objective of the Valley Lode District Garden Club. She also presented him with an award from the National Garden Club for his Distinguished Service.
