The Riverbank Barracudas swim team played host to the Escalon Orcas and the Patterson Pirates on Friday, July 20 at the Riverbank Community Pool, and did not disappoint the home crowd with a quality effort filled performance.

"I was really impressed with the way all of our swimmers competed," Riverbank swim coach Tommy Hunter said. "They all did a great job."

The Barracudas held their own in the tri-meet against a solid Escalon team and an extremely deep Patterson squad. Riverbank was forced to make a few adjustments on the fly, and in a certain time of crisis, the Barracudas had somebody step up to the challenge.

"Mitchell Bryan had a real good meet for us," Hunter said. "We didn't know who we were going to have open up on one of the relays, and Mitchell stepped up and took the first leg for us.
