The Stanislaus Animal Services Agency (SASA) is in urgent need of community support as the shelter faces a critical overcrowding situation. To address this issue, a generous anonymous donor is stepping up to make a profound difference in the lives of homeless dogs.
This weekend, on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 29 and 30, SASA invites the community to participate in the ‘Fall Fur Me Weekend Special,’ a two-day event aimed at finding loving homes for dogs in need. Thanks to the unwavering commitment of a long-time rescuer, all dog adoptions will be sponsored, meaning that every eligible dog can find their forever home at absolutely no cost.
Each dog available for adoption at SASA comes fully prepared to be a cherished family member. They are up to date on vaccines, microchipped for identification, spayed or neutered, and, most importantly, brimming with love and affection.
The adoption event will run from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., both Friday and Saturday, at the Stanislaus Animal Services Agency, 3647 Cornucopia Way, Modesto.
SASA is calling upon the community to join them in this special adoption event. By opening your heart and home to a furry friend in need, you not only change their life but also enrich your own.
