Traffic collisions, drunk in public, and thieves caught and arrested are some of the calls for service that deputies in the City of Riverbank handled this past week.

On Sunday, Dec. 11 at 12:10 a.m., deputies responded to a vehicle collision at Topeka Street and Callander Avenue.

At 1:05 p.m. on Sunday, deputies responded to a family fight. One subject was subsequently arrested; he was transported and booked into the Stanislaus Detention Center.

During the evening on Sunday at 5:48 p.m., deputies responded to a vehicle collision at Terminal Avenue and Virginia Avenue. One driver was transported to the hospital for a possible medical emergency.

Deputies responded to the 2900 block of Ward Avenue for a family fight on Sunday at 11:35 p.m. One subject was arrested for being drunk in public after he left his house and was found walking down the middle of the street. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center to be released once he sobered up.

On Saturday, Dec. 10 at 10:07 a.m., deputies responded to the 4200 block of Labrador Lane for a family fight. Police said following an investigation, four people were booked at the Stanislaus Detention Center for trespassing and being in possession of a controlled substance.

On Friday, Dec. 9 at 10:42 a.m., deputies responded to a traffic collision at Morrill Road and Willow Creek Lane.

On Thursday, Dec. 8 at 11:19 a.m., deputies responded to a residential burglary in the 5700 block of Rose Brook Drive. The investigation is ongoing.

At 3:46 p.m. on Thursday, a driver was arrested for driving under the influence. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

RPS Detective Xiong followed a vehicle that had three people who had taken merchandise from Kohl’s in Riverbank on Thursday at 8 p.m. Deputies initiated a stop after a short pursuit and the three occupants were subsequently arrested. There was $4,000 worth of merchandise that was recovered and all occupants were transported and booked at the Stanislaus Detention Center.

On the morning of Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m., a 47-year-old man drove to the Police Department to ask for advice on a civil issue. He was found to be extremely intoxicated and was arrested for DUI.

On Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 10:54 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for vehicle code violations near Jackson Avenue and Callander Avenue. The driver, a 41-year-old man, was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for DUI.

On Monday, Dec. 5 at 10:27 a.m., deputies responded to the 5400 block of Claimstake Court for a found child. The child was reunited with family prior to deputies’ arrival.

At 2:25 p.m. on Monday, deputies responded to Gallery Drive and Antique Rose Way for a report of a stolen box trailer. The investigation is ongoing.
