Deputies answered a variety of calls for service around Riverbank during the past week.

On Saturday, Sept. 10 at 5:20 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a subject refusing to leave at the Arco AM/PM. A subject was contacted and found to have three outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was booked at county jail.

At 9 a.m. on Saturday, Stanislaus County Probation Officers and Riverbank Deputies were conducting a probation search in the 2700 block of Stanislaus Street. Isaac Vaughn, 41, was contacted at a residence. Vaughn had two information and belief wants for various felonies. Vaughn was booked at county jail.

On Saturday morning at 9:55 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision with minor injuries, at the intersection of Squire Wells Way and Hendricks Court.

Deputies contacted a 32-year-old woman in the 6500 block of Eighth Street on Saturday at 11:45 a.m.; she was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

During the afternoon on Saturday at 1:20 p.m., deputies contacted Gerard Sotaso, 23, at the intersection of Patterson Road and Terminal Avenue. Sotaso was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.

Deputies were conducting foot patrol on the river bank on Saturday at 5:15 p.m. While there, they contact a 33-year-old man who was wanted for multiple outstanding warrants. He was booked at county jail.

During the evening on Saturday at 7 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a subject trying to break into a vehicle in the 2900 block of Sierra Street. A 40-year-old man was found intoxicated trying to get into a vehicle. He was arrested for being drunk in public. A search of his person revealed a concealed fixed blade and the man was booked at county jail.

On Saturday at 8:40 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a laser strike to an aircraft from the intersection of Oakdale Road and Claribel Road. The Sheriff’s helicopter tracked the vehicle to a parking lot. The occupants were contacted, and a juvenile suspect was detained. The suspect was arrested for discharging a high-powered laser at an occupied aircraft.

On Friday, Sept. 9 at 8:30 a.m., deputies responded to the report of suspicious circumstances at the Riverbank Language Academy.

At 1:30 p.m. on Friday, deputies located a 53-year-old man at the Starbucks in the Crossroads shopping center. He had nine active warrants for his arrest. He was booked in county jail.

At 3 p.m. on Friday, deputies responded to the report of a petty theft in the 6200 block of Don Carlos Avenue.

On Friday at 5:20 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision, property damage only, at the intersection of Roselle Avenue and Hillglen Avenue.

During the evening on Friday at 7:20 p.m., deputies conducted foot patrol on the river’s edge. Curtis Jackson, 32, was contacted and found to have a felony warrant for his arrest.

At 8:30 p.m. on Friday, deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision, property damage only, at the intersection of First Street and Santa Fe Street.

At 9:45 p.m. on Friday, deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision, minor injuries, at the intersection of Morrill Road and Lenay Way.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Roselle Avenue and Morrill Road on Friday at 11:45 p.m. A 62-year-old male was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. He was booked at county jail.

On Thursday, Sept. 8 at 7:24 a.m., deputies responded to a vehicle collision at Patterson Road and Terminal Avenue.

At 8:39 a.m. on Thursday, deputies responded to a vehicle collision in the 3700 block of Kentucky Avenue.

At 10:22 a.m. on Thursday, deputies responded to a vehicle collision at Roselle Avenue and Patterson Road.

Deputies responded to Home Depot for a petty theft on Thursday at 12:06 p.m. Joseph Salvador Saldana, 37, was booked at the Public Safety Center for theft and possession of a controlled substance.

At 1:38 p.m. on Thursday, deputies responded to a vehicle collision at Oakdale Road and Patterson Road.

During the afternoon on Thursday at 3:28 p.m., deputies responded to Ulta and Kohls for a possible grand theft. The investigation is ongoing.

At 5:52 p.m. on Thursday, deputies responded to a hit and run at Claribel Road and Claus Road.

On Thursday at 11:32 p.m., deputies responded to a hit and run in the 3300 block of Santa Fe Street.

On Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 7 a.m. S.I.U. served a search warrant at 6201 Howard Avenue. The investigation is ongoing, no further information.

Deputies were dispatched to a family disturbance in the 2700 block of Topeka Street on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. There was no contact at the door and the anonymous reporting party did not answer.

At 9:59 a.m. on Wednesday, deputies were dispatched to 5230 Squire Wells for a possible drunk driver. A 64-year-old Oakdale resident was arrested for DUI and transported to the Public Safety Center.

On Tuesday, Sept. 6 at 6:41 a.m. responded to a suspicious vehicle at Landon Lane and Sutton Drive. The vehicle was reported stolen out of San Jose. The vehicle was recovered and towed by TNT towing.

At 9:21 a.m. on Tuesday, deputies responded to a theft of tires from 3142 Atchison Street.

On Monday, Sept. 5 at 11:24 a.m., deputies responded to a hit and run collision. The investigation is ongoing.
