Detectives arrested 36-year-old Virgil Graves Jr. on Thursday, May 19 and booked him into Stanislaus County Jail on charges of felony robbery and felony violation of parole.

On Nov. 21, 2015 the Star Market on Patterson Road in Riverbank was robbed and a clerk was assaulted. After an investigation conducted over the last few months, detectives were able to identify Graves as the responsible suspect. He was located in Stockton at a motel on the 600 block of North Center Street, and taken into custody without incident.

“Sometimes it may take some time to put all the pieces together and identify a suspect, but please know we do not give up, with patience and persistence we will prevail,” stated authorities.
