Baristas at the local Starbucks, 325 E. F St., Oakdale, had a little extra help recently, when the store, in conjunction with the Oakdale Police Department, hosted Coffee with a Cop. Officers got right to work; some were taking orders and delivering drinks to drive-thru customers, others were learning the ins and outs of how to craft the various hot and cold beverages. Some officers also took time to visit with those stopping in for their drinks and snacks, enjoying a coffee break and conversation.
