Are you looking to work with youth in the community? Here is the chance to obtain valuable experience by volunteering at Hutton House. As a volunteer, you will provide direct support to youth and their families.
Application deadline is Monday, Feb. 15 and the time commitment is 20 hours of initial training, followed by a six-month or 200-hour commitment, four hours per week.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and available to attend an interview and required trainings. They must also pass a TB test and fingerprint clearance, as well as DMV clearance.
Virtual interviews are planned for Friday, Feb. 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Orientation, trainings and volunteer services will be at Hutton House, 201 Jennie St., Modesto.
Hutton House staff needs assistance with a variety of tasks including: Answering the crisis line, performing intakes, leading recreational activities, tutoring youth, co-facilitating groups and transporting youth to meetings, events and appointments.
Center for Human Services Hutton House is the only shelter for runaway and homeless youth ages 13-17 between Sacramento and Fresno. The program focuses on getting youth off the street and reunited with their family.
Volunteers from throughout the region are welcome and encouraged to apply.
