Better Bargains

The Riverbank Chamber of Commerce honored five of its member businesses over the weekend at a dinner at the Community Center, recognizing one as Business of the Year.

The chamber presentation was included at the Citizen of the Year Awards Banquet hosted on Saturday, Jan. 28. President-Elect Garnette Martin recognized Tania Woodman, owner of Better Bargains in downtown Riverbank.

Martin noted their support of community events in making the award.

Other nominees included Minuteman Press, of Stockton, and Westamerica Bank, La Salsa Fresh and Perko’s Restaurant, all located in Riverbank.

For the past several years, the Chamber of Commerce has taken the opportunity to present their Business of the Year Award during the Citizen of the Year Committee’s annual banquet.
