Fun and family festivities are scheduled once more for the downtown Riverbank area next month.

While Thanksgiving is still a couple of weeks away, people are already looking ahead to December.

The Christmas Craft Faire will return to Third Street in Riverbank just in time to complete holiday shopping needs. Organizers say there are at least 25 craft vendors. Also, a number of food vendors will be on hand, offering a variety of selections for hungry shoppers and parade goers.

The Faire will be held from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, at Third and Santa Fe streets. That same day, at 5:30 p.m., the 53rd Annual Christmas Parade will take place, followed by a Christmas Tree lighting in Plaza del Rio Park.

In addition, families will have an opportunity to take pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus throughout the event.
