Delicato Photo Show Wraps Up Saturday

The 20th annual Delicato Photography Show is in full swing at the winery’s Tasting Room, off Highway 99 four miles north of Manteca. Off French Camp Road, turn left over the railroad tracks and travel a half mile to get Delicato.

There are 135 matted photographs chosen for the 2016 show and they remain on display through Saturday, June 25. All will be available for purchase. Color, black and white and computer-aided photos are all on display with subjects ranging from landscapes to birds of prey to bountiful flowers. Visitors to the tasting room can sip new wine releases while looking at the photos and cast their ballot for the Visitors’ Choice Award. The Best of Show honors went to Fred Howland of Carson City, Nevada for his photo ‘Morning.’

The public is invited to attend the Artists Awards Ceremony and Reception on Saturday, June 25. Hors d’oeuvres will be available at 3 p.m. and the awards will be presented at 4 p.m.

The tasting room is open seven days a week, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Award winners came from Stockton, Lodi, Turlock, French Camp, Ripon and more.
