Fire Board Sets Session

After having “no reportable action” out of a special session on Friday, Oct. 27, the Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Protection District Board of Directors has called yet another special session.

This one is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 1:30 p.m. at the Station 26 meeting room, 3318 Topeka St., Riverbank.

Like the Oct. 27 special meeting, the agenda for the Wednesday session includes the call to order, Pledge of Allegiance, roll call, approval of the agenda and then a time for public comment. Following that, the board is scheduled to adjourn into closed session for a Public Employee Performance Evaluation for the Fire Chief.

The second item of business under the closed session portion is listed as a Public Employee Discipline/Dismissal/Release action. Board members had the same items agendized at the Oct. 27 meeting but did not take any action following the closed session.

They are scheduled to provide a closed session report once they conclude that portion of the meeting.

The next regularly scheduled meeting for the district’s Board of Directors is slated for Thursday, Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. in the board meeting room at the fire station on Topeka Street.
