Even though school is out for the summer, local youngsters can still take advantage of some tasty, nutritious meals.

A free summer meal program is being offered through the Riverbank Unified School District for kids and teens, 18 years old and younger, in the Riverbank community. Serving of the meals started on Monday, June 6.

Cardozo Middle School offers breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., Monday through Friday until July 15.

Riverbank High School will be serving breakfast only from Monday through Thursday until July 14 from 10 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

Breakfast will be served from 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. and then lunch from 11:30 a.m. until 12:15 p.m., Monday through Thursday, until June 30 at Riverbank Language Academy.
