Riverbank Unified School District Superintendent Dr. Daryl Camp, second from right, was invited to speak at the Annual Martin Luther King Commemoration at the Christian Love Baptist Church in Modesto earlier this month. The church has been hosting the annual event for over 30 years. Camp noted that it was an honor to share the keynote address at the commemoration. There were several local officials at the event like Modesto City Mayor Ted Brandvold, CSU Stanislaus President Ellen Junn, and Assemblymember Heath Flora, among others. The address focused on moving from comfort and complacency to concern, collective synergy and consequence, explained Camp.
