Children – and adults – are invited to a special craft day coming up at the Riverbank Library.

Those attending will be able to make snowman ornaments out of corks and various craft materials on Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 4 p.m. Advance registration is required. Library officials ask that those planning to attend register all people in their group (adults, children and infants) individually. This event is sponsored by Friends of the Riverbank Library. It is a holiday craft just in time to help decorate the Christmas tree.

As a reminder, the library at 3442 Santa Fe St., Riverbank, will be closed for the Christmas holiday on Saturday, Dec. 24 and Monday, Dec. 26.

Regular library hours are Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, noon to 6 p.m.; Wednesdays, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; closed Fridays and Sundays.
