This past Friday, Oct. 20, there was a celebration hosted at California Avenue Elementary to bring information, resources, activities, and fun to the community at the 11th Annual Lights On and Binational Health Week. The National Lights On After School event has over 8,000 participants and focuses on keeping the lights on and doors open after school for the safety and success of the youth.

Riverbank Unified School District and Project A.C.T.I.O.N. staff organized the event that had several informational booths from local businesses and activities for the entire family along with food and entertainment.
