Local Library Hosts Free Tax Preparation

The Riverbank Library will host free tax preparation from VITA Tax volunteers at the library from Feb. 3 through April 6 on Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Tuesday, Feb. 9 there will be a craft held at the library where participants will be painting Valentines at 3:30 p.m. Kids will paint on recycled newspapers. There will be different color papers to work with during the special activity.

The Book Club is reading “Little Bee” by Chris Cleave on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 4 p.m.

There will be an Heirloom Gardening program presented by Terry Harper and Heidi Aufdermaur from the Heirloom Gardening Club, on Saturday Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. They will have a discussion about saving seeds and the importance of heirloom gardening.

Story Time will continue on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. through the month February until March 28.
