For the 13th consecutive year, the Stanislaus Association of School Administrators Charter (ACSA), along with the Stanislaus County Office of Education (SCOE) honored students who have succeeded despite challenges. The students were lauded at a celebration on Tuesday, March 20 at 7 a.m. at the Petersen Event Center in Modesto. The “Every Student Succeeding” program honors students who have succeeded against challenges, gone beyond expectations, or simply won the hearts of their teachers and other school staff members.

Riverbank High School student Theo Luu was one of those students recognized along with 21 other students throughout Stanislaus County. Luu is a senior this year at RHS.

At the breakfast celebration on Tuesday, Rose Goulart a student at Davis High School, received the honor of becoming the 2018 Stanislaus County Region Nominee and received a $500 scholarship. She will represent Stanislaus County in the regional program in April. The state nominee will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship. The Every Student Succeeding program culminates in recognition at the ACSA State Conference in San Diego in November.
