Riverbank United Methodist Women will be cooking soup and beans on Friday, April 28. You can dine in, take out or call and place an order for delivery within Riverbank. Soup/beans will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Riverbank United Methodist Church, 6901 Third St., corner of Third and Atchison streets.

Cost for soup and/or beans is $5 and dessert is $1. The women will be serving homemade Chicken Noodle soup, Corn Chowder, Cream of Broccoli soup, Vegetable Beef soup, Portuguese Beans with Linguica, and White Beans with Ham. For dessert you have a choice of homemade chocolate brownies, blonde brownies or lemon bars.
