American Veterans First (AVF) recently donated an electric wheelchair to Escalon resident, veteran Daryl Brown. AVF President John Hinkel took a moment to pose for a photo op with Brown, a 101st Airborne Division Vietnam veteran, when the chair was delivered earlier this month. Brown said he was delighted to receive the chair and extremely appreciative to have mobility once again. American Veterans First is a non-profit organization located on Patterson Road in Riverbank.
