For the past couple of weeks, Riverbank parks have been closed to the public, with caution tape wrapped around playground equipment all over town. Nonetheless, some residents are finding unique ways to exercise or get some time out in the afternoon sun. Here, a former resident returns to Castleberg Park to enjoy the open fields and serenade the park’s neighbors with his trombone. Wyatt Wisuri grew up in Riverbank, attending through sixth grade, he said, before moving with his family to Modesto. He graduated from Beyer High School, but returns to area parks from time to time, relaxing and practicing his trombone.
