Noted on the RLA Class of 2018 program is the following: “in August of 2005, a group of parents, teachers and community members discussed the creation of Riverbank Language Academy Charter School. These dedicated individuals freely gave their time to carefully plan and create a unique opportunity for children.”

Also, on the program it states: “We believe RLA to be an excellent school of choice. RLA prides itself in recognizing the accomplishments of the eighth grade promoting class. We are proud of these students and their accomplishments and we are thankful to our RLA parents for committing to their child’s education and choosing us for the past nine years. We have no doubt that these students will carry what they have learned during their time at RLA and will grow to be amazing adults.”

The students were presented with their promotion certificates and then were presented to the crowd.
