Rumors Production On Stage At Riverbank High

Riverbank High School’s Drama Club is presenting “Rumors” this week with an exclusive student only matinee on Thursday, March 8 for only $3 a ticket, a 7 p.m. showing on Friday, March 9, and a matinee showing at 2 p.m. along with an evening performance at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 10. Tickets are $5 for those shows and can be purchased at the door of the Black Box Theater.

This production has a small cast starring Jesus Aguiniga, Ryan Choeb, Katie Larson, Citlalli Martinez, Jorge Yepez, Melanie Hurtado, Kayla Savory, Bryse Allen, Klarissa Valadez, and Rolando Carrillo. The students have been rehearsing to bring the audience a fun and entertaining performance.

Aguiniga and Martinez play Ken and Chris Gorman and Choeb and Larson play Leonard and Claire Ganz.

“Rumors” opened on Broadway in 1988 and is a farcical play by Neil Simon.

The setting is at a 10th Anniversary party for Charlie Brock, the Deputy Mayor of New York and his wife Myra but things do not go as planned.
