Members of the Oakdale Daisies and Brownies Troop 3101 recently paid a visit to the Oakdale Animal Shelter, which serves both Oakdale and Riverbank. With some of the funds raised from their cookie sales, the troop was able to bring a few donations to the shelter. They donated beds, food, and toys as well as blankets and towels that they collected to comfort the animals. Shelter staff members Jeff Whorley and Danielle Merritt, along with Trixie who was adopted to a new home, took a moment for a photo opportunity with troop members during their visit.
