At the end of April, officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 2600 block of Santa Fe Street in Riverbank. An adult female was found with a gunshot wound and was transported to a hospital for treatment. Riverbank Police Services have continued the investigation and are now looking for the suspect, who has been identified as Ignacio Rivas. Also known as ‘Nacho,’ Rivas was described by police as being 51-years-old, about 5’3” tall and weighing 185 pounds, bald or very short hair with brown eyes. He is wanted in connection with the shooting and authorities stated that the weapon has not been recovered and Rivas is considered armed and dangerous. He is known to frequent Riverbank and Oakdale.
