All area car clubs and car enthusiasts are invited to a special classic car show and toy drive at Save Mart in Riverbank on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Registration to participate in the show is required and closes on Tuesday, Nov. 15 as space is limited. The show will serve as a kickoff for the holiday collection to benefit Toys for Tots and help provide toys for local youngsters in need.

As part of the citywide effort, new toys will be accepted through Friday, Dec. 16 at Save Mart in Riverbank, City Hall North, and the Riverbank Unified School District office. For the past few years, CASA del Rio, Central Valley Community Resources (CVCR), and Valley Improvement Projects have partnered with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign. Riverbank residents can register for the toy distribution until Friday, Nov. 18. To register, call CASA at 209-869-0468.

Monetary donations are accepted in the form of a check made out to C.V.C.R.; they can be mailed to P.O. Box 578155, Modesto, CA 95357.

To register or for more information, contact Monica at 209-534-2758.
