The search is on for creative, fun-loving hostesses to decorate holiday themed tables for dozens of diners at the Riverbank Federated Women’s Club annual Holiday Luncheon and fundraiser.

Club president Marie Shubin is looking for three to five new hostesses to join those who regularly show off their hospitality skills at this annual event by decorating the tables and then enjoying the meal and other festivities at the luncheon. Shubin said the annual luncheon is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 2 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Riverbank Community Center.

Shubin added that, “having decorated the tables, hostesses will invite their friends to purchase the $20 tickets and then enjoy the wonderful food created by the Howard Training Center in Modesto.”

She noted that all proceeds from the luncheon and accompanying raffle will support the club’s activities in Riverbank.

Shubin hopes that hostesses who love the Christmas season and all the holiday decorations that go with it will contact her at 209-606-2404 to get involved in this festive, traditional holiday gathering.
