Modesto CHP Hosts CHiPs For Kids Toy Drive
TOYS

The California Highway Patrol, Modesto Area, has officially kicked off its annual CHiPs for Kids toy drive.

The CHP is encouraging the public to help make a difference by donating a new unwrapped toy, sporting good, or game. All donations will go to a nonprofit within the community that will distribute the toys to children within Stanislaus County.

The CHiPs for Kids program began 33 years ago and couldn’t be done without the help of the community. The program goal is to make a difference in a child’s life while maintaining trust within the community and building positive relationships.

Donations can be dropped off at the Modesto Area CHP, 4030 Kiernan Av., Modesto during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The deadline to donate is Wednesday, Dec. 15. This year has been so difficult for so many. The CHP reminds residents that, together, we can bring joy to those less fortunate in our community.
