C. Lowell Coleman, 62, of Tracy died Wednesday, Sept. 29 at Veterans Administration Hospital, Palo Alto.

A native of Monterey Park, he lived in Escalon and the San Joaquin County area for many years before residing in Tracy for the last two years. He worked as an artificial inseminator technician for 36 years. He served in the U.S. Army. He belonged to the V.F.W. in Ripon and the Lakeside Chapel at the San Joaquin River Club.

He is survived by his wife, Trevia Coleman of Tracy; children, Debbie Jones of Modesto, Tom Hamilton of Oakdale, David Hamilton of Mississippi, Lorie Hawkins of Bakersfield, Christy Zoucha of Turlock and Jim Hamilton of Escalon; brother, David Coleman of Los Angeles; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Clifford Coleman and brother, Larry Coleman.

Funeral services were held at Oakdale Church of the Nazarene on Monday, Oct. 4. Burial followed at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson.
