Judy Galbreath, 61, died Monday, Oct. 20.

She was born to Harlan Gordon Galbreath and Eleanor Eugenia Anderson.

Ms. Galbreath obtained her CNA certification and worked at Oakdale Hospital.

As a young woman, she worked as a travel agent and traveled around Europe with the L.A. girls' soccer team.

Her favorite activities were camping, snow skiing and traveling. She had a love for the country, stagecoaches and other artifacts from the old west. She was able to spend some time in Alaska, which was amongst her fondest memories.

She is survived by her aunt, Mary Anderson; cousins, Jeannette Crane, Patricia Boucher, Ginger Clark and Glenn Anderson; and longtime friends, Bev and Art Morrow, and Erwin Landt.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31 at 5224 Highway 108, Oakdale.

Remembrances may be made in her name to the Bay Area ALS Association.
