MONDAY, DEC. 18

1:07 a.m. – Deputies investigated a family fight in the 2700 block of Topeka. A 32-year-old man was subsequently arrested. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

 

SUNDAY, DEC. 17

2:38 a.m. – Vehicle stop conducted by deputies for speeding. The driver, a 24-year-old man, was arrested for DUI. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

10:16 a.m. – Deputies investigated a theft in the 5500 block of Fig Tree.

1:09 p.m. – Assault investigation in the 6500 block of Eighth Street.

 

SATURDAY, DEC. 16

9:01 a.m. – Deputies conducted a bike stop of a subject they knew had warrants at Squire Wells and Meadowgate. The 34-year-old man was arrested. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

11:58 a.m. – Strong armed robbery reported at Home Depot. Following an investigation, Jaime Theiler, 55, was arrested, transported, and booked into the Stanislaus Detention Center.

1:53 p.m. – Deputies investigated a vehicle collision in the 2600 block of Topeka Street.

7:06 p.m. – Investigation into a vehicle collision at Oakdale and Patterson. Kristen Cahill, 46, was subsequently arrested for DUI causing injury. She was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

 

FRIDAY, DEC. 15

8:04 a.m. – Deputies investigated a family fight in the 6200 block of Jaguar Court. A 37-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

1:35 p.m. – Vehicle collision investigation in the 2200 block of Patterson. The parties exchanged names and law enforcement was no longer needed.

9:35 p.m. – Deputies stopped a vehicle for driving recklessly. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle had a handgun in the passenger side floorboard and resisted when deputies had him exit the vehicle. Sergio Martinez, 25, was arrested. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

 

THURSDAY, DEC. 14

3:19 a.m. – Deputies contacted a subject in a vehicle in the 2200 block of Patterson. The 57-year-old man was arrested for being under the influence. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

7:45 a.m. – Deputies investigated a major vehicle vs. pedestrian incident at Westgate and Saxon. The Stanislaus County MAIT team responded and took over the investigation.

3:01 p.m. – Theft of a backhoe reported at Central and Sierra.

4:56 p.m. – Deputies investigated a theft at Target. A 70-year-old was cited for petty theft and released after signing a promise to appear.

10:07 p.m. – Vehicle collision investigation at Oakdale and Patterson. A 34-year-old woman was arrested for DUI and an outstanding warrant. She was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

 

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 13

4:23 p.m. – Detectives and deputies were doing extra patrol at the Crossroads Shopping Center. Detectives noticed a group of subjects go into Target, where Target’s Loss Prevention watched and confirmed the subjects concealing merchandise. Seven subjects were arrested and several thousand dollars’ worth of merchandise was recovered. All seven were transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

8:29 p.m. – Traffic stop conducted at Oakdale and Morrill. A 23-year-old man was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Tuolumne County. He was arrested, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

 

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS

On Dec. 16, SRO Johnson and CRD Buck assisted a non-profit group with delivering Christmas gifts to children in need.
