On Monday, March 20 at 7:06 a.m. deputies responded to the 2700 block of Patterson Road for a subject down in front of the business. The subject was found to be okay and was sleeping.
On Sunday, March 19 at 8:08 p.m. deputies responded to the 3500 block of Patterson Road for a theft report. The investigation is ongoing.
On Saturday, March 18 at 12:50 a.m. deputies working the DUI checkpoint contacted a 23-year-old female driver. Through investigation she was found to be driving under the influence and arrested. She was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
Deputies responded to a hit and run vehicle versus a pedestrian in the 2400 block of Claribel Road on Saturday at 2:25 p.m. The responsible driver was located and identified as Ketan Patel, 59. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
At 10:23 p.m. on Saturday deputies responded to the 2800 block of Ross Avenue for a suspicious vehicle. A 29-year-old male was found to have an outstanding warrant. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
At 10:49 p.m. on Saturday deputies responded to a hit and run collision in the 2300 block of McAllister Lane. There was no suspect information.
Deputies responded to the 2800 block of Ross Avenue for a suspicious vehicle on Saturday at 11:02 p.m. A 31-year-old woman was found to have an outstanding warrant. She was taken into custody, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
On Friday, March 17 at 6:47 p.m. deputies conducted a DUI Checkpoint. Several citations were written.
At 8:10 p.m. on Friday deputies working the checkpoint contacted a 38-year-old male; he was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody without incident, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
Deputies working the DUI checkpoint on Friday at 11:22 p.m. contacted two subjects, a 54-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman. They both had outstanding warrants for their arrest. They were taken into custody without incident and given citations with a new court date.
On Thursday, March 16 at 8:10 a.m. deputies responded to the 6600 block of Central Avenue for a theft. The investigation is ongoing.
At 9:55 a.m. on Thursday deputies responded to the 3400 block of High Street for a theft report. The case was closed due to no suspect information.
Deputies assisted CHP with a possible DUI driver on Oakdale Road south of Claribel Road just outside the city limits on Thursday at 8:58 p.m.
On Wednesday, March 15 at 5:51 a.m. deputies responded to the 3500 block of Riverside Drive for a subject trespassing in a residence. A 32-year-old woman was arrested for trespassing and resisting arrest after a short foot pursuit. She was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
Deputies responded to Homewood Way and Blacksand Creek Way for a subject slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle on Wednesday at 8:24 a.m. Deputies stopped and contacted the 59-year-old man after he tried to drive away from deputies. He was found to have a suspended license. He was cited and his vehicle was towed.
At 11:37 a.m. on Wednesday deputies responded to the parking lot of Kohls for a disturbance. Both parties stated it was verbal only and did not need law enforcement assistance. The incident was documented.
Later that afternoon on Wednesday at 2:07 p.m. deputies located a 52-year-old man that they knew had a warrant for his arrest, so they stopped him and detained him for a deputy out of the main office to take the subject into custody since it was that deputy’s case.
At 3:37 p.m. on Wednesday deputies responded to Roselle Avenue and Petersen Way for a report of a city bus versus a pole. The investigation is ongoing.
On Tuesday, March 14 deputies were busy with calls of downed trees and signs around the city.
At 1:56 p.m. on Tuesday deputies responded to a traffic collision. One party was found to be driving with a permit only. There were no injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
Deputies responded to the 2700 block of Topeka Street for a disturbance on Tuesday at 2:12 p.m. Both parties on scene stated it was verbal only and just yelling. They required no law enforcement assistance.
At 2:54 p.m. on Tuesday deputies responded to Patterson Road and Third Street for a traffic collision. Minor injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
Deputies responded to the Ulta parking lot for a person that was sprayed with an unknown substance in the face by two unknown persons in a white Audi on Tuesday at 9:23 p.m. The incident was documented after the victim stated she wanted nothing done.
