SUNDAY, APRIL 6
3:44 p.m. – Deputies investigated a vehicle collision at Callander and Stanislaus. The parties had exchanged information and one of the subjects involved was already gone when deputies arrived. This was a name exchange with no need for law enforcement.
5:56 p.m. – Family fight investigated by deputies in the 3000 block of Santa Fe. One female adult was arrested for domestic violence. She was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
SATURDAY, APRIL 5
4:59 a.m. – Deputies investigated a report of a loud argument and possibly people fighting in the 6400 block of Eighth Street. Deputies contacted several subjects in the street, some who had visible injuries. All subjects were uncooperative and would not provide a statement as to what occurred. Ultimately, no crime could be established, and deputies documented the incident.
10:03 a.m. – Family disturbance investigation by deputies in the 6600 block of Arena Way.
3:43 p.m. – Minor-injury vehicle collision reported at Topeka Street and Callander Avenue.
6:37 p.m. – Deputies investigated a person claiming to have a gun in the 2400 block of Claribel. The subject fled from deputies and was taken into custody in an orchard across from the Crossroads shopping center. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
7:38 p.m. – Assist to a subject in the 2900 block of Gambler Hill; an ambulance transported the subject to a hospital for treatment.
9:41 p.m. – Deputies investigated a vehicle collision at Claribel and Squire Wells.
11:23 p.m. – Investigation regarding a subject that appeared to be intoxicated in the 6300 block of Terminal. The subject was arrested for being drunk in public. After a search of his person, he was also found to be in possession of illegal narcotics. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
FRIDAY, APRIL 4
1:27 p.m. – Deputies investigated a theft at Chevron on Claribel Road.
3:51 p.m. – Minor-injury vehicle collision at Claus Road and Santa Fe.
5:19 p.m. – Deputies investigated a minor-injury vehicle collision near Claribel Road and Oakdale Road.
9:36 p.m. – Investigation into a family disturbance in the 6000 block of Deep River Court. An adult male was arrested for battery. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
11:38 p.m. – Deputies investigated a hit and run vehicle collision at Claribel and Claus roads. Deputies were able to identify the responsible vehicle using city cameras.
THURSDAY, APRIL 3
3:05 p.m. – Report of a theft at Target. Deputies investigated and one adult female was arrested for the theft. She was issued a citation and released after signing a promise to appear.
3:59 p.m. – Deputies located a subject they knew to have an active warrant in the 3700 block of Iowa. The male adult was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
8 p.m. – Report of a missing person in the 3800 block of Stanislaus. The person was entered into the missing person’s system.
6:42 p.m. – Deputies investigated a hit and run vehicle collision in the 2300 block of Claribel.
7:12 p.m. – Assist for a subject in the 2400 block of Browns. The subject was transported to the hospital for treatment.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2
4:22 a.m. – Deputies assisted Ceres Police by locating a subject with an active warrant for his arrest. The subject was located at his house in the 3900 block of Sweepstakes. He was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
3:13 p.m. – Hit and run vehicle collision investigation at Atchison and Seventh Street.
7:49 p.m. – Deputies responded to the 2800 block of Ward for a subject needing assistance. The subject was transported to a local hospital by ambulance for treatment.
OTHER HIGHLIGHTS
On April 1, Detectives served two search warrants related to a counterfeit money-making operation. One search warrant was in Modesto and the other was in Ceres.
