RHS Schools On Holiday, Sports Games Continue

Despite all Riverbank schools still being on holiday vacation, Riverbank High athletes have been able to squeeze in a few games during the extended holiday period.

 

Bruin Basketball

Varsity boys basketball continued with a game at Liberty Ranch High School on Friday, Dec. 28, losing 79-54 in Galt. They’re scheduled to travel to Ripon High on Friday, Jan. 4, to kick off the New Year. School is scheduled to restart on Monday, Jan. 7 and their first home game will be Tuesday, Jan. 8 against Hughson.

 

Girls Basketball

The Lady Bruins had the week off, and are scheduled to return to action tomorrow, hosting the Indians of Ripon. They’ll go to Hughson on Tuesday, Jan. 8, before returning home on Jan. 15, hosting Ripon Christian.

 

Bruin Soccer

Varsity boys soccer saw a visit to the Cougars of Clovis, dropping a 7-1 match. Ripon comes to RHS next, on Tuesday, Jan. 8, after school resumes.

 

Lady Bruin Soccer

The varsity girls’ match in Sonora, originally set for Friday, Dec. 28, has been rescheduled for Thursday at 3 p.m. They’ll go to Ripon on Tuesday, Jan. 8, and have a bye on Thursday, Jan. 10. They’ll return to the home field on Tuesday, Jan. 14, to take on Hilmar’s Lady Yellowjackets.
