Riverbank area first graders through eighth graders are continuing the competition portion of the Youth Basketball Clinics, putting the newly learned skills that they acquired the first two weeks of the program, to work.

The clinic continues with Saturday morning games in both gyms on the RHS campus.

The games are divided up by age group, with both varsity and JV Bruin and Lady Bruin players and coaches serving as instructors stationed around the floor. The young players play full court games, shooting, passing, dribbling and controlling the ball, skills they were taught earlier in the clinics.

The timing of the age group’s games remains as it has since the beginning, with schedules for team matchups posted on the lobby windows of the main gym.

The snack bar at the gym is open during the games as well, staffed by the Bruins Booster organization, for parents and friends watching the action who are hungry or thirsty.

The competition portion of the youth basketball program will continue for two more Saturdays.
