Christmas celebration due in downtown Riverbank
Christmas parade

Now less than a month away, there’s still time to prepare for Riverbank’s Christmas Celebration, coming to downtown on Saturday, Dec. 13. Mark the calendar now and make a plan to enjoy the festivities.

It’s an afternoon of Christmas fun, with the Craft Fair beginning at 3 p.m. and continuing through 8 p.m., typically set up on Third Street, in front of City Hall North.

The holiday parade begins at 5:30 p.m., running from the Community Center, down Santa Fe Street to Second Street, then back across Second to Stanislaus Street and back to the Community Center Park.

After the parade, there will be the Tree Lighting in Plaza del Rio Park, then the opportunity to take holiday photos with Santa.

And, with that, the Christmas season will officially be underway in Riverbank.

Information for Craft Fair vendors and the parade entries is available by contacting the City Parks and Recreation Department.
